“Another great new Bruce Monroe orchestration for the 5th Avenue. We've got my usual core of timpani to the left, and stacked vibes/xylo/glock cluster. For the famous ‘Steam Heat’ number I utilized one of my vintage brass cannon shells, and a Kabuki Chanchiki. Bruce's Billy May style arrangement of ‘Hernando's Hideaway’ was sheer bongo heaven, allowing one to channel their inner Jack Costanzo.”
