Beauty and the Beast - Regional - Angel Williams
Filed in: Regional
Angel Williams’ percussion setup for the Herriman Arts Councils production of Beauty and the Beast in Herriman, Utah.
"The setup is simple with a few added things for Sound Effects in the show.
No room for a marimba or chimes so I used a xylophone with mallets played an octave lower for the marimba and chime notes. Crotales were played on a Wurlitzer 1919 Concert Bells.
Miller Machine made quick changes easy!
- Timpani 26" and 29"
- Concert Bells
- Suspended Cymbals (15" Dark and 18" Thin Crash)
- Temple Blocks
- Grover Tambourine
- Grover Triangle
- Grover Woodblock
- Able Triangle on Miller Machine
- Tree Works Wind Chimes
- Bell Tree
- Sleigh Bells
- Vic Firth Pop Gun
Sounds effects added: Slide Whistle, Zil-Bel for spitoon sound, Cowbell for Maurice's machine, percussion crash bucket with pipe for Maurice's machine 'Crash go Boom'."
